Arun Rekha Gogia MA (Sociology) started counselling patients of her husband and after gaining an interest as well as insight underwent several training course on Lymphedema therapy in India and Abroad.

She has been serving as a volunteer therapist at AIIMS New Delhi since 2011 and has managed over 2000 patients besides assisting 3 clinical studies on use of various bandages and other materials. Many workshops on how to care for Lymphedema have been conducted across India including

on lymphedema and wound care in 2010 -11 (50 hours)
The training included Lymphatic and Venous Anatomy, Pathophysiology, Differential Diagnosis, Investigation Approach, Record keeping. Hands on Practise was provided on Skin and Wound care, Dressings, exercises, Compression techniques and Lymphatic Massage. Even while many others from across the country have been trained. The following inhouse staff helps manage our own patients
